Prodigal daughter back in the kitchen!

Hello! After lots of changes and tribulations I'm back in my old saddle. Not sure if anybody is still here but I hope you come back to see what am I up to. This little bun I'm serving for visitors comes from my most recent "Fly me to the moon" textile creation. Living with a bread maker transports you to the cozy galaxy of the warmth, smell and all kinds of heavenly tastes. So I couldn't resist and had to transform all my feelings on a theme into fabrics and stitches. How close my work stands to original models? Judge by yourself. Bon appetit!

Beside the inspirations and influences I wrote about in the previous post, there's a real life and live people who make difference in my works. The carrot you see above wouldn't happen without my bunny. Oprócz wpływów i inspiracji, o których pisałam ostatnio, jest jeszcze życie i żywi ludzie, którzy także mają spory wpływ na moją pracę. Nie byłoby tej marchewki bez mojego królika. This bunny came to me from the other end of world - from the lovely shop in California . If you remember my attempts to wired trees , you know that I loved it from the first sight. I love everything in it - the design, the craftmenship, the wit. Now it hangs in my kitchen to admire and... to inspire. That's how my textile garden grows :) BTW - while visiting International Triennial of Tapestry this year I discovered another great artist working in wires: Królik przywędrował do mnie z drugiego końca świata - z miłego sklepu w Kalifornii . Jeśli pamiętacie moje zabawy z drucianymi drzewa
